On June 18, the aroma of bamboo leaves and sticky rice filled our office – Dragon Boat Festival had arrived.
This year, instead of buying ready-made zongzi, we decided to make them ourselves – together.
The conference table was transformed into a makeshift workshop. Glutinous rice, pork belly, quail eggs, dried shrimp, fresh bamboo leaves – colleagues from all departments gathered around, fully focused on folding, filling, and tying, with laughter echoing throughout the room.
Watching everyone work in unison – some rolling the leaves into perfect cones, others holding the bundle steady while a colleague tied the string – I couldn‘t help but notice the parallels with what we do every day.
